Two-way conversion

R6 to CS2 Sensitivity Converter

Convert your Rainbow Six Siege sensitivity to CS2, or go the other way from CS2 to R6. The conversion runs instantly in your browser, with the formula shown beside every result.

Conversion direction

DPI is optional — keep the same DPI in both games for the closest feel.

Quick start

How to Use the R6 to CS2 Converter

How do I choose the conversion direction?

Select R6 → CS2 if you are moving from Siege to Counter-Strike, or CS2 → R6 if you are going the other way. The converter defaults to R6 → CS2.

What sensitivity and DPI do I enter?

Type your current in-game sensitivity in the source game. Optionally add your mouse DPI for reference — the conversion itself uses a fixed 1.0 multiplier, so DPI does not change the result.

How do I apply the result in-game?

Copy the result into your target game settings, test it in practice or deathmatch mode, and adjust slightly if needed. Small changes preserve the baseline the converter gives you.

Why test anyway

Why R6 and CS2 Feel Different Even with the Same Sensitivity

Both games default to a similar field of view — around 90 degrees — but they do not render it the same way. Siege measures FOV vertically and lets you change it in settings, while CS2 derives it from a fixed horizontal value and your aspect ratio. The two engines also process raw mouse input differently, which changes how the same sensitivity feels during fast turns and micro-corrections.

That is why the 1.0 conversion multiplier is a mathematical equivalence, not a guarantee of identical feel. Your cm/360 distance will match, but recoil patterns, ADS behavior, and movement speed all shape perception. Treat the converted value as a starting point: paste it into CS2 (or Siege), warm up in a deathmatch or the training grounds, and adjust in small steps. Change one thing at a time, and give the new setting a few sessions before deciding it is wrong.
